Dominating Sectors
The 'Navcomm' screen provides a visual indication of which legions dominate which sectors. A white sector indicates it is completely devoid of visible ships. A multicolour sector indicates it is being contested with no legion clearly dominating.
Sector domination by your legion provides a safer place to pilot your craft. In two special cases, dominating a sector will provide the following rather useful bonuses:
Controlling a sector adjacent to an enemy base provides a point bonus each turn for all the dominating ships in that sector (with the exception of cloaked ships). The bonus varies according to your ship level:
Ship Level |

If your base is damaged then ANY sector, dominated by your legion, will provide a bonus to the amount by which your base can repair itself per tick. Each sector that is dominated will add 500 health points (200 HP in a frantic) per tick to the home world. If a base domination is shared with another legion, both legions get the full points.
